Ellwood City, PA –Talkin’ Stick Game Calls, the call company that invites hunters to “Get Your Talk On,” is very pleased to announce the results of several pro-staff members who recently took part in the 2007 installment of the World Calling Championships recently held in Birmingham, AL.
The founder of Talkin’ Stick, Buddy Stang was quoted as saying that “here in rural Pennsylvania, a man’s work is his legacy. Quality matters, effort wins, and character rules the day. It’s from this background that we founded, built, and continue to run Talkin’ Stick. We couldn’t be any more thrilled at how our pro staff members performed (on and off the stage) and how we, as a company, are received by hunters whenever we attend such events. With a growing army of loyal customers (and sales growth to prove it), Talkin’ Stick decided to put their calls up against the world’s best at this year’s World Championship Turkey Calling Contest®. The results were outstanding and their calls left the whole place Talkin’.
It’s with great pride, and a slight blush, Talkin’ Stick earned a 2nd place showing in friction calling for Buddy Stang and a 4th place in Owl Hooting for pro-staffer Jeff Pingle.
“It was a great event,” added Stang … “we love to go to competitions, see old friends and make new ones, but now it’s time to get back to the wood shop and continue preparations for the upcoming Deer and Turkey seasons.”
